Upon disembarkation at Hong Kong Port, a tour representative will provide a pick-up service to transfer you directly to Hong Kong Airport for your flight to Shanghai.

After landing in Shanghai, meet your local guide and enjoy a seamless transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure to relax.

Shanghai

After breakfast, start your urban exploration of Shanghai. First, visit the iconic Bund, featuring a row of classic European-style historic buildings along Huangpu River, facing the modern skyline of Pudong across the river. Then stroll along bustling Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the most famous commercial street in China with vibrant shopping atmosphere and urban glamour. Next, explore Xintiandi, a trendy leisure block blending well-preserved old Shikumen stone-gate houses and modern boutique stores, bars and restaurants.

In the afternoon, wander around Yu Garden, a classical southern Chinese garden with exquisite pavilions, winding corridors and elegant rockeries built in the Ming Dynasty. Afterwards, visit Yuyuan Old Town Bazaar to experience authentic Shanghai folk customs and local traditional snacks.

In the evening, enjoy a wonderful Chinese Acrobatic Show featuring breathtaking stunts, graceful dance and stunning stage effects, showcasing the top traditional Chinese performing arts.

Shanghai – Beijing (High speed bullet train)

After breakfast, transfer to Shanghai Railway Station to board the high-speed bullet train (2nd class seat included) heading north to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, a  local guide will meet you at the railway station and escort you to the hotel for check-in. The whole afternoon is free for leisure to adapt to the new city and have a good rest.

Beijing – Great Wall of China

After breakfast, drive to visit the magnificent Great Wall, the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and the symbol of China, winding across northern mountains with profound ancient military history. After descending the wall, head to Olympic Forest Park, the core landscape zone of 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Take an exterior visit to the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), two landmark Olympic architectures with distinctive futuristic designs.

Take a deep exploration of traditional Beijing Hutongs. Wander through narrow ancient alleyways, feel the genuine local residential culture and slow old Beijing lifestyle.

In the evening, enjoy a classic Peking Duck Dinner, the most representative imperial cuisine of Beijing, featuring crispy roasted duck skin matched with traditional side dishes and sauce for an authentic local feast.

Beijing

Start the day with breakfast, then visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city central square in the world with great political and historical significance. Afterwards, proceed to the Forbidden City (Palace Museum), the imperial palace of Ming and Qing dynasties where 24 emperors once lived, featuring grand imperial architectures and precious royal cultural relics.

After lunch, climb Jingshan Park situated right opposite the Forbidden City, offering the best panoramic full view of the whole imperial palace complex. Then visit Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, boasting elegant lakes, lush mountains and classical imperial garden layouts.

In the evening, join a special farewell dinner to conclude this wonderful Beijing journey with us.
