While children are permitted on Silversea voyages, the line maintains strict age policies, offers no dedicated kids’ clubs or childcare, and generally caters to travellers seeking a refined, quiet and sophisticated experience.

Silversea’s dress code reflects the line’s elegant, sophisticated atmosphere while offering modern flexibility. During the day, attire is resort‑casual, similar to what you’d wear at a five‑star resort: relaxed but refined clothing such as sundresses, tailored shorts, polos, blouses and breathable fabrics suited to the climate. Silversea recommends flat or low‑heeled footwear for daytime deck activities.

As evening falls, the dress code becomes more elevated. From 6pm onwards, indoor spaces will require either elegant casual or formal optional attire, depending on the night.
