Arrive Amsterdam

Touch down in the charming city of Amsterdam and make your way to the hotel. From 3pm, your tour leader will be on hand to assist with check-in and answer any questions. At 5pm, join your fellow travellers for a warm welcome briefing and get excited for the journey ahead!

Note: Due to flight times and scheduling, you are likely to depart Australia on Day 0. Final documents will confirm travel timings.

If your flight arrives later in the evening, the Tour Leader will leave a welcome note at the front desk and can also be contacted via WhatsApp.

Meals included: N/A

Amsterdam

Ease into your European adventure with a full day to explore Amsterdam at your own pace. Wander the winding canals, dive into Dutch history at the Anne Frank House, or cruise the waterways for a unique view of the city. Prefer a slower pace? Grab a seat at a cosy café in the Jordaan district and watch the world go by.

Please note the above sightseeing are a suggestion not an inclusion. A complete guide with recommendations on what to see, do, and eat will be included in your final travel documents, ensuring you have plenty of inspiration to make the most of your time in Amsterdam!

Meals included: Breakfast

Amsterdam - Rhine Valley

Say goodbye to the Netherlands—but not before visiting a traditional workshop to see how Dutch cheese and clogs are made! Then, cross into Germany’s gorgeous Rhine Valley. Taste local wines in this storybook region and meet a cuckoo clock maker who’ll share their fascinating craft. End the day with a group dinner in the heart of the valley.

Meals included: Breakfast and dinner

Rhine Valley – Innsbruck

Today’s journey takes you into Austria, with a fascinating stop in Ulm—home of Einstein and the world’s tallest church steeple. Arrive in Innsbruck, nestled among alpine peaks, for a short orientation tour and some free time to enjoy the city’s blend of imperial history and mountain charm.

Meals included: Breakfast

Innsbruck – Venice

Travel one of the most scenic alpine routes—Brenner Pass—en route to Venice, where canals replace streets and every turn feels like a painting. This afternoon, get lost (in the best way) in Venice’s magic: float on a gondola, marvel at St. Mark’s Basilica, or sip coffee at a waterside café.

Meals included: Breakfast

Venice – Rome

Next stop: the Eternal City! Swap the vibe of Venice for the richness of Rome! Rome buzzes with activity, passion, tradition and an energy all its own! Join a local Roman for a walking tour of Rome’s ancient icons—like the Colosseum, Roman Forum and more. Exploring Rome by foot is a fantastic way to explore and learn about the rich history, culture, and iconic landmarks of the city.

Meals included: Breakfast

Rome

Rome wasn’t built in a day—and it can’t be seen in one either! Spend today your way: visit the Vatican, take a pasta-making class, or simply wander through historic piazzas with gelato in hand. Your tour leader will have plenty of optional experiences to suggest.

Meals included: Breakfast

Rome – Tuscany

Head to Florence, where Renaissance brilliance meets Tuscan beauty. Explore iconic sights like the Duomo or the Ponte Vecchio, stroll through open-air markets, or soak in the artistic atmosphere of this charming city.

Meals included: Breakfast

Tuscany - Swiss Alps

This morning, strike a pose with the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa before saying “ciao” to Italy and crossing into Switzerland’s alpine wonderland. Arrive in a scenic mountain village and settle in for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature.

Meals included: Breakfast

Swiss Alps

Wake up to fresh mountain air and a free day to do as much—or as little—as you like. Stroll the village, sample heavenly Swiss chocolate, or take an excursion to a nearby mountaintop for spectacular views of glaciers, lakes, and valleys.

Meals included: Breakfast

Swiss Alps – Paris

Bonjour, France! Today we make our way to the iconic city of Paris. Enjoy a driving tour of famous landmarks—the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe—before sitting down for a final group dinner in the romantic capital.

Meals included: Breakfast and dinner

Paris

The day is yours to explore Paris however you wish. Start with a visit to the Eiffel Tower, browse the treasures of the Louvre, or unwind in the artistic streets of Montmartre. Want more structure? Your tour leader will share optional experiences to help you make the most of it.

Please note the above sightseeing are a suggestion not an inclusion. A detailed guide with suggestions for attractions, dining, and activities will be included with your final travel documents, ensuring you’re ready to make the most of your Parisian adventure!

Meals included: Breakfast

Depart Paris

Depending on onward travel timings, enjoy breakfast and farewell your group at the hotel. At the appropriate time, make your own way to the airport for your flight home.

Itinerary

Our multi-country Europe tours are carefully designed to give a real insight into the highlights, culture and beauty of each country. Each day will be different, with a combination of travel days, sightseeing and free time to explore or take a breather as you wish.

Free Time & Advance Ticket Booking

Please note that on days designated as “free time” within your itinerary, certain popular sightseeing attractions may require pre-booked tickets due to high demand or limited availability. We strongly advise that you research and book these tickets in advance of your travel date to ensure entry. This will help avoid disappointment and allow for a smoother experience. Any missed opportunities or entrance restrictions due to a lack of advance booking will be the sole responsibility of the traveller.

Accommodation

While you will not spend much time in the hotels, each has been carefully selected to suit the size and needs of the group. They may not be centrally located, but are typically near public transport options, and your friendly driver will provide a helpful orientation tour on arrival into many of the cities you visit. Our accommodation is a range of styles; including hotels, resorts and lodges, generally of a quality 3 star or higher local rating.

Coaches

Our elegant coaches come equipped with safety belts, comfortable seats, air-conditioning, an onboard toilet, huge windows and plenty of legroom to ensure that your coach tour is a pleasure from the moment you set foot on the bus and throughout your journey.

Tour Leader

Your tour leader will be experienced, friendly and passionate to share each destination with you. They will be on hand to offer suggestions for extra activities, local dining options and more while you are on tour.

Pace

The pace of this tour is fast and lively. The on-the-go nature of multi-country Europe travel rewards you with maximum sightseeing opportunities but involves early starts and several long travel days, with one to two nights in each destination on average. Scheduled free days allow some downtime, or alternatively, you have the flexibility to explore further and book optional programs directly with the guide.

Fitness

A medium level of fitness is required. You are required to move about unassisted, including boarding and alighting vehicles and other forms of transportation, walking up and down flights of stairs, and navigating occasional uneven or steep terrain. You will be required to carry your own bags to and from hotels, stations and terminals. This trip is not suitable for travellers requiring wheelchairs, mobility scooters, larger walking aids or facilities for disabled guests. Other walking aids may be permitted if you are able move about unassisted at the required pace. For advice on whether this trip is suitable for you, you must disclose physical ailments at the time of booking.

Group Size

You will meet like-minded travellers on tour and may even make lifelong friends. The maximum group size is approximately 48 per vehicle.

Meals

Breakfast at hotels is typically continental buffet style cold dishes and basic hot dishes. Included lunch and dinners are typically authentic meals purposefully chosen to complement the local experience.
