Here, you can learn about local heritage at the Mull Museum, try a dram of local whiskey, stroll around the loch in Aros Park or marvel at the views across the Ardnamurchan Peninsula on a walk along the wooded coastal path. Mull is also a magnet for birders, with the highest breeding density of golden eagles in Europe.

 
Outer Hebrides, United Kingdom

Today, explore the Outer Hebrides and, depending on the conditions, attempt a landing at one of the many tiny islands. You may visit a remote community and learn about the local way of life, or head to a pristine beach for a nature landing or hike. You may also go out in a smaller boat for some coastal cruising in search of wildlife, such as puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes and seals.

 
Stornoway, United Kingdom (Scotland)

Home of the famous Harris Tweed cloth, spend your time in Stornoway visiting the Gothic-style Lews Castle and ‘Scotland’s Stonehenge’, the 5000-year-old Callanish Standing Stones. If conditions allow, you’ll later sail to the island of Staffa, home to the famous Fingal Cave.

 
Isle of Colonsay, Scotland

Immerse yourself in unspoilt island beauty during your visit to Colonsay. A paradise for birdwatchers, keep your eyes peeled for choughs, red northern divers, eagles, fulmars, guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and shags. Or opt for a kayaking tour, where you may be lucky enough to spot whales, porpoises and dolphins.
