Leaving the sparkling Pacific Coast behind, travel across sweeping maritime plains and take in stunning mountain vistas along the way. Your destination is the beautiful Okanagan Valley, a sun-drenched region in south-central British Columbia, renowned for its lush vineyards and abundant fruit orchards.

Along the way, you’ll stop to visit a local winery, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of the region’s celebrated wines and soak in the picturesque surroundings. This afternoon, we arrive in Vernon, a charming town nestled between three spectacular lakes: Okanagan, Kalamalka and Swan. With its endless sandy beaches and scenic waterfronts, Vernon is the perfect place to unwind. The town’s rich history dates back to the 1860s when cattle driver Cornelius O’Keefe helped establish the area as a key stop along the cattle trails.
