Azamara – Putting the Luxe in Luxury Cruises
Why turn to Azamara for your next luxury cruise?
Azamara Club Cruises offer luxury cruises from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and the Americas. They pride themselves on offering spacious mid-sized ships with an intimate boutique hotel feel, impeccable service and a fully immersive destination experience.
What is included in an Azamara luxury cruise?
Azamara Club Cruises offer all-inclusive luxury cruises on their boutique cruise ships. The ships are big enough to offer the all the luxury facilities you need to relax on board, while small enough to get to the heart of destinations. The Azamara fare includes meals, beverages, gratuities, self-service laundry, a shuttle service in port, and an AzAmazing Evening excursion (on all itineraries over seven nights, apart from Transatlantic crossings).
AzAmazing Evenings are private events arranged exclusively for Azamara cruise guests and are complimentary as part of their destination immersion programme. On Azamara luxury cruises, it is all about getting an authentic local experience in each port of call, which is why the Azamara itineraries allow for maximum time in every destination! Back on board the ship, this love for all things local translates into a unique menu on each cruise, giving you the chance to taste the flavour of each new place along your journey.
During your luxury cruise you can look forward to complimentary port-of- call lectures, wine talks and tastings, cooking demonstrations, or just relaxing in the onboard library after a long day of exploring. A luxury cruise offering exclusive to Azamara are their ‘Nights in private places’. This is an unforgettable romantic evening which allows couples to enjoy canapés in the whirlpool, a private dinner cooked on hot stones by your butler, and an outdoor bed to sleep under the stars.
The luxury cruise ships
Azamara has a fleet of two mid-size luxury cruise ships, the Azamara Journey and the Azamara Quest, both accommodating 686 guests. The ships were refurbished in 2016 upgrading the cabins, restaurants, bars, lounges, and spa with new technology and a stylish combination of classic and contemporary décor.
The friendly intimate ships boast an attentive crew, six dining options, a casino, a library, a theatre, a pool and jacuzzis, a wellness spa, beauty treatments, a fitness centre, a running track, and modern luxurious accommodation (a high proportion of which have private balconies!).
Azamara has a third ship joining their luxury fleet in 2018. The new ship, formerly P&O’s Adonia, will be named the Azamara Pursuit. Her 2018 and 2019 itineraries are due to be released on the 25th of October 2017.
