It is one of the oldest cities in the world and considered one of the most fascinating. The past and the present of Athens unfolds before your eyes while we drive around the city’s highlight spots and monuments. Visit the Acropolis where the Parthenon stands as a testament to Greece’s classical era as we visit the historical sites and city landmarks. Continue with an optional tour wandering through plaka district sampling local dishes and visiiting speciality stores offering a taste of the local Greek snacks before heading back to the hotel.

Athens to Nafplion (B,D)

Leaving the bustling city behind, meet the tour leader today. A scenic drive unfolds with breathtaking landscapes as we continue our journey towards Nafplion a lovely seaside town. With its Venetian influence and former capital, this city has cobbled stone streets, elegant shops and restaurants. Wander the streets and enjoy the ambience of this beautiful city and picturesque harbour.

Nafplion to Olympia (B,D)

First stop is the mythical ruins of Mycenae, where the Lion Gate and the towering Cyclopean walls are an archaeological treasure. Continue the scenic route through the Peloponnese region. Pass through charming villages and olive groves, absorbing the timeless beauty of the Greek countryside. Arrive at Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games

Olympia to Delphi (B,D)
