Egypt and Jordan both experience hot and dry climates, so it’s important to be prepared for warm temperatures by staying hydrated and wearing appropriate sun protection. Travel is varied – in Egypt, we use a combination of flights, coach transfers for day tours, and a leisurely-paced Nile Cruise. In Jordan, most touring is by coach, including visits to iconic sites like Petra and Wadi Rum, and some early starts can be expected. Bargaining is common in markets and with street vendors in both countries – it’s all part of the local culture and a fun way to interact with the locals.
