MS Polarlys

Embark on the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Voyage’ onboard the comfortable MS Polarlys. The word ‘Polarlys’ is Norwegian for ‘polar light’ and refers to the natural Arctic phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis. This Hurtigruten ship was most recently refurbished in 2016 and features a modern, Arctic-inspired interior, along with a range of convenient amenities.

Onboard Dining

A journey with Hurtigruten offers a chance to sample traditional Norwegian fare. MS Polarlys has three onboard restaurants, including the buffet-style Torget, the bistro-style Brygga, and Kysten, which offers an a la carte menu. If you’re craving a sweet treat, head to Multe, the onboard bakery and ice cream bar. Meanwhile, Explorer Bar serves a range of hot and cold beverages, complete with panoramic views.
