Washington D.C, United States of America

Welcome to Washington! Fast paced, politically charged and culturally revered, ‘DC’ is the place you’ve seen a thousand times on screens small and large. After making your way to your hotel, meet up with your Travel Director, subject to your flight arrival time.

Washington D.C, United States of America – Sightseeing

Start the day with a sightseeing tour visiting icons including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the jewel in America’s political crown, the White House. Take advantage of free time this afternoon to treat your cultural side by browsing the Smithsonian Institution, or choose experiences like visiting George Washington’s sprawling Mount Vernon Estate. This evening you can optionally choose to join a Washington Illumination Tour, where you’ll see DC’s most famous monuments lit up in their night time glory.

Washington DC — Lancaster, USA

Today you’ll travel back in time in Pennsylvania Dutch farm country, home to America’s oldest and largest settlement of Amish people. Spot farmers working the fields with their horses and manual tools and traditional horse and buggies passing you by as you take in the beautiful rural surroundings. Then meet up with a Local Specialist who will share all about the ‘plain’ lifestyle of the Amish community, who live without cars, televisions, mobile phones or modernday appliances. You could (optionally) choose to try out the traditional buggy for yourself on a ride through the back roads, or join in on an Amish familystyle dinner at Good ‘n’ Plenty, serving authentic Pennsylvania Dutch meals since 1969.

Lancaster – Niagara Falls, Canada

Travelling northwest today, journey along the surging Susquehanna River, crossing the western region of New York State and pass through the Appalachian Mountains. Take in awe-inspiring scenery throughout the day, arriving into Canada and Niagara Falls late this afternoon. Relax this evening.

Niagara Falls, Canada – Sightseeing

This morning you’re off to visit a natural phenomenon, Niagara Falls! The biggest falls in North America, an incredible 2,850,000l of water thunder into the gorge below every second. Get up close on a cruise to Horseshoe Falls, allowing you to see both the Canadian and American sides. This afternoon is free to explore on your own pace or join an optional trip to NiagaraontheLake. Boasting colonial architecture, cute rustic shops and local eateries, the region’s also renowned as a producer of ‘icewine’, one of the world’s finest wines that you’ll also have chance to sample at a tasting.

Niagara Falls, Canada – New York City, United States of America

Bid farewell to Canada this morning and journey back across the border through leafy and picturesque upstate New York and into New Jersey. Sprawling McMansions, pine forests and miles of coastline will keep you entertained as you venture towards the fast and fabulous metropolis of NYC. Arriving late afternoon, why not spend your first night here getting acquainted with the city’s foodie scene? From gourmet food trucks to Michelin Star restaurants, the city that never sleeps ensures you’ll never go hungry.

New York City, United States of America – Sightseeing

We hope you’re hungry as for breakfast you’re heading to an NYC institution, the Brooklyn Diner for an iconic breakfast. Fuel up on classic eggs and bacon, bagels, and coffee, then head out with our Local Specialist to discover New York through their eyes with the secrets behind some of Manhattan’s most iconic sites including Broadway, the Top of the Rock, leafy Greenwich Village, fast paced Wall Street and the sobering 9/11 Memorial. This afternoon, enjoy the chance to discover New York your way. Head over to trendy Brooklyn, catch a show on Broadway, or slow the pace with a walk through leafy Central Park.

New York City, United States of America

Enjoy a full day or free time to revisit your favourite icons or explore further into New York City’s exciting boroughs today. You’ll have easy access to public transport and the ubiquitous yellow cabs from your Times Square hotel.

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ship’s activities can be found in the vessel’s daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

Port Canaveral, Orlando, United States of America

A central port in Florida, Canaveral is one of the busiest in the world. Over 3.9 million cruise passengers passed through last year alone! Once in Orlando, you’ll be treated too over 12 theme parks with Walt Disney World as the key attraction. The new hot spot, Universal Orlando, is home to Universal studios and Harry Potter World which makes for a fun day out.

Ocean Cay is part of the Bimini chain of islands in the western Bahamas. MSC Cruises has helped this country set up an environmental paradise and an exclusive spot for vacationing in harmony with nature in one of its most astonishing locations.

Nassau, Bahamas

Welcome to the capital of the Bahamas! Nassau has the largest open-air aquarium in the world with over 100 different species of colourful tropical fish. Here you can interact with dolphins and go on excursions to neighbouring islands in motorboats.
